Snake River SCCA – March 26th & 27th Photos
This last weekend marked the start of the 2011 Snake River SCCA Season. While I am devoted to a full season of racing, I also will try my best to shoot everyone at the event. Saturday/Sunday weather played a factor and I wanted to take advantage of dry pavement, so only 1 group was shot both days. Here is what I got:
The Halloween House
Every year a co-work of mine, Stacy, goes all out and crazy with his Halloween decorations around his house. Over the years Stacy has built himself up quite a collection of Halloween goodies to really give the trick or treaters a pleasent scare when coming to get candy. I headed over last night to check it out and just had to snap some photos of the display. Full Gallery after the jump:
Snake River SCCA Oct. 17th Event
As promised here are the photos from a very fast Sunday event! I was getting all over the rev limiter in 2nd gear, so the track was fast.

Snake River SCCA Oct. 16th Event
This weekend was the start to last four events for the Snake River SCCA region’s 2010 schedule. With having second place for season points pretty much locked in, I thought I would bust out the camera again and do some multi-tasking at the event. The nice overcast during Saturday’s event made for a nice set of photos to be shot. During each run group I worked my way around the track layout to find a few different vantage points to shoot from. After over 500 photos, here are the ones I felt were some of the best. I will upload a gallery link to all the photos, so if you raced you will find your car ( I shot at least 1 photo of every car.)

2005 Nissan 350z
Went out quickly yesterday prior to the BSU game and squeezed this shot out in about 30 minutes. Fun shoot, I hate red at times. First car shoot in a bit!!!
2010 Idaho Balloon Rally
This morning Heather, Claire and I decided to wake up bright and early to venture out to the park to watch the 2010 Idaho Balloon Rally. This would be Claire's first balloon rally and definitely not the last, Heather and her will be going back tonight for the night glow event. Click over to see all the photos taken at the event.

Snake River SCCA – Drift School
This weekend was a great event for the scene in Boise! BoiseDrift has been setting up great events in Twin Falls and the SCCA thought it would be a good change to hold a drift school at the Fairgrounds prior to the NocturnoX. So 31 cars later and we got a parking lot full of smoke and tire rubber. Event was great, good to see people out there supporting the scene and learning the different aspects of drifting. In between filming I was able to snap some photos, didnt get everyone, but hopefully the video will make up for that.

Infiniti G35 Shoot
Had a chance to shoot this awesome G35 a few days ago. I have shot this car a few times when the previous owner had it, from then this car has done almost a full 360 and the new owner has put his own look to the car. Nothing beats a nice blue with some white wheels, plus the stance on G35 is just awesome. Here are snaps we got (I need to get a wide angle lens again to do some rigs, donations accepted, lol).
