Kirk Garretson’s Subaru Impreza RS 2.5
Well its been a long time from my last update or car shoot for that matter. Recently I moved to the Portland area for work and am just starting to get out and get into the car scene. I was able to meet Kirk at a local Subaru meet and he was willing to let me get back into shoot with his Subaru Impreza RS. This was a quick shoot we did, while Kirk has some big plans for this car, so we will be going on a full shoot very soon. Feels good to be shooting and also finding awesome car enthusiasts like Kirk.

Chris Lofthus Group – Real Estate Photoshoot #2
As many of you saw with my last blog post I have recently expanded into Real Estate photography. The great team at the Chris Lofthus Group has kept me busy with brining me another house to shoot for an upcoming listing. This house was a new challenge, easier but at the same time complicated, as this house was not furnished. This made some of the rooms just seem empty, so I looked at it from the viewpoint of what would get me to want to purchase this house. Look for some more photos coming soon and new twist on Real Estate photography as I gear up to add a new modern twist to the way people will search for houses online!!!!

Chris Lofthus Group – Real Estate Photoshoot
Just recently I was given the opportinuty to branch out my photography into a new area that I have never shot before. I was put in contact with the Chris Lofthus Group about shooting a few homes for their Real Estate company/webpage. Having never done this before I figured it would be a fun challenge, and the first house was a great one to start off with. The house sits above Shadow Valley Golf Course and has a real southwest feel to it, not to mention is was decently sized at just under 3,000 square feet. Meeting the owners of the house was a pleasure, they did a great job in having the house cleaned and really clutter free which made the photoshoot that much easier to go through.
In the end I am very happy with the turnout and looking forward to the growth in my work along this field. More photos can be found after the jump.

Snake River SCCA – Drift School
This weekend was a great event for the scene in Boise! BoiseDrift has been setting up great events in Twin Falls and the SCCA thought it would be a good change to hold a drift school at the Fairgrounds prior to the NocturnoX. So 31 cars later and we got a parking lot full of smoke and tire rubber. Event was great, good to see people out there supporting the scene and learning the different aspects of drifting. In between filming I was able to snap some photos, didnt get everyone, but hopefully the video will make up for that.

Infiniti G35 Shoot
Had a chance to shoot this awesome G35 a few days ago. I have shot this car a few times when the previous owner had it, from then this car has done almost a full 360 and the new owner has put his own look to the car. Nothing beats a nice blue with some white wheels, plus the stance on G35 is just awesome. Here are snaps we got (I need to get a wide angle lens again to do some rigs, donations accepted, lol). 1972 Honda 600 Shoot
Every once and awhile I get to break out from the normal car shoots and shoot some classic cars. This time I got to take some snaps of a old school Honda 600 that was is very good condition. The car is owned by Greg Dietz, owner of Dietz Automotive, being a honda specialist I knew this Honda 600 would be one of the cleanest out there. For the shoot I wanted to try to make the photos have that classic feel to them and create that feel of looking at the car as if it just rolled off the lot. More photos after the jump!!!
Formula Drift – Round 4 – Throwdown
It’s almost becoming a tradition now that I make my way to at least one Formula Drift event here on the west coast. For the past two years I have made my way down to Vegas to hit up the Formula Drift event and each year it’s been a blast. Well this year it was time to change up the scenery a bit and head west to the Seattle event for a first time. Having been to the Seattle area in the past for other car events I was really excited to see the atmosphere from a drift event. Vegas is fun cause it’s Vegas, but Seattle is on a whole new level with enjoyment and fun, the energy the crowd puts off and the layout of the track really helps highlight the level of skill these drivers have. I am hoping next year to make it back up to Seattle and even possibly the Vegas event, would be a fun year! Andrew’s Evolution IX MR
Went on a little shoot last week with this Evolution IX. On our first attempt to shoot some mean thunder storms moved in forcing us into a parking garage. I was not to happy with having to shoot in there, but the shoots actually came out great, so now I am happy. On Saturday we took a nice little drive out to Payette for a shoot at one of his buddies old brick building. After shooting there for a bit it was time for the sunset photos. We found a nice stretch of road that looked over the valley and we hit it. Timing was perfect for this shoot location, however with having another car with us to shoot, it was a park/shoot/done situation.
It feels good to be back out shoot and this camera just amazes me more and more each time I use it.
